Yes before staying at Melasti, I stayed at Mandira, same thing happened. However I can see the Value at Mandira as they constantly renovate. It is now out of my price range. I first stayed at Mandira in 1983 when it was new. The Melasti wasn't built, however Melasti just haven't renovated the rooms enough to justify the increase. I stayed 3 weeks in June, and my fridge kept freezing everything, after complaining for 2 weeks, it was finally replaced. This was in cottage suite. I love the staff and the location, if the rooms had been updated I would see the value. I put up with little things at Melasti that are not so good because you get what you pay for. However I'm not going to pay those increases, to overlook the "little things"
