i have been using my ATM card for many years now, without any issues, i just find it more convenient, when cash is gone its gone with no way of recovering it. however if you card has been skimmed or used inappropriately, well more than likely you will get you funds back. i do however use the atm at the banks, the atm at the hotel we generally stay at is located in the entrance and there is always a guard standing near the machine and cameras in action, i feel pretty safe using the ATM
