Double Six is another name for the street called Jalan Arjuna. It's the southern end of Seminyak bordering Legian. They just call it Double Six beach because it's at the end of Double Six street/Jalan Arjuna.
The only cheap-ish accom that I know of near there is the Jayakarta. 5 mins walk south from Double Six. I'm sure there's more that aren't beachfront though.
