I can not believe people complaining about taxi fares and rip offs in Bali... Evertime I land in melborne I inevitably get angry taxi drivers upset that my fare is a short one,(I live close to the airport) they have to take it... Friends have suggested I go upstairs to departures and jump in a taxi that hasnt been waiting in the queue for hours... NO! NO! I am tired, usually travelling with tired teenagers and I just want to get home... Melbourne taxi drivers are C&*t"s....
Incidently, the first time I travelled to bali, my Travel Agent (flight centre) charged me and my partber US $30 each for airport transfers...Flight centre are C#@ts!( now Know to organise own transfers..)Then the driver that Flight centre organised to pick us up continually hounded us to organise tours with him...
So my suggestion at Nguraih Rai is have your driver collect you.
