it was only a matter of time till people started to make a statement with this.
I feel sorry for the individual drivers who are bound by the airport taxis policies, but what has happened with pricing etc over the last couple of years has caused many people to look at other transport options.
I have walked into the airport as opposed to the way you want to go.
I didn't find a dedicated path for this, but it was a 10 minute walk with no real difficulty crossing a couple of the ramps and roads.
As long as you just have backpack or hand luggage, it won't present too much of a problem.
