So off we went to Jln. Sulawesi to buy traditional gear for a friends wedding. The ladies in the street all assured me I would do better in the market and so, walking past a perfectly good Kebaya shop we went into th market and were grabbed by a lady who's friend had just what I wanted....yeah right ....so they squeezed me into a Kebaya and assured me it fitted which it did if I didn't breath but when I did out popped the girls. No no Ibu they assured me, it fits, like beautiful . Meanwhile I looked over at my husband who was trying a shirt which they were saying was perfectly lovely but looked like a dress or a caftan so, I am looking at him with my boobs running amuk and he is wearing a dress, strangely appropriate since he is holding my bag and the unspoken message is that we need to get outta there and we did. anyway back at the perfectly lovely Kebaya shop we got what we needed and ran to the ,Hong Kong Restaurant for a perfect lunch. Mission accomplished!
