Five hour pamper package at Putri Bali Spa Ubud
Greenfield Hotel -great place to stay
Rice paddy walk at Ubud
Dinner at Tekor Bali, Legian. First time since the fire and at the new location. Exquisite food as always.
Lanai, Legian: my favourite breakfast-yogurt, granola and fruit
Traffic in Legian was horrendous. Walking was quicker than a taxi.
First time staying at Beach Melati Apartments, Legian. Very comfortable, great location, friendly, helpful staff. Today we were entertained by the removal go a HUGE tree next door. No OHS. Workers were barefoot, using chain saw and hatchet. When we got back from dinner everything was cleared. No evidence that the tree was ever there. Sadly, also noted that all the shops opposite the Jayakarta entrance are gone and are now a building site. I expect it means another development. The traffic in Legian can't cope with this. More importantly it changes the ambience of the area. May have to spend more time on Nusa Lembongan next time.
