Well, another trip to bali come and gone......must be our 10 th 12 th trip since 2002.
Spent most of the time lazing on the sun beds at ozzies in front of kumala pantai.
Tried a few new restaurants / bars this year....sardine, Zibiru, red carpet champagne bar, potato head, cocoon, la favela,,amongst them......plus the oldies- ultimo, pearl, jadi, warung Asia, lanai, .
Visited Kadek ( about to give birth to baby no 4 and desperate for a boy) at amlapura orphanage.....lovely to see her and the beautiful kids again and spent a few hours teaching them Aussie kids latest craze, loom band bracelets. They loved it, along with the clothes, shoes, etc. If anyone visiting they are really in need of thongs and school back backs.
Had a night over at lembongan island but had a little accident coming around the corner on scooter, down I went! A little embarrassing, 51 face down in gravel with legs pinned under bike. Lucky not too bad, just my ego.....but perhaps no more bike riding for me!
Already booked for girls trip in June- 25 of us! Look out ubud and Legian.
