The moisture content of the timber is the big concern. Due to the high humidity here (Bali) the timber of the furniture can easily dry out and crack within 2 years of being in the drier humidity of Australia.
Most Australian importers of furniture do not do this from Ubud or even Bali. It is done from Java.(where the furniture is actually made)
