I have said that it would be a way out for Burhan to say that his goldsmith returned the wrong bracelet and it was a genuine mistake.
However he does not want to take that path, possibly because the original has been disposed of and cannot be returned anyway.
The work was certainly not done by Burhan himself as he made several calls to someone he claimed to be his goldsmith while I was in his shop.
With each of these calls and after a couple of visits where all I got was excuses about the time being taken it dawned on me that all was not well.
