Got back from bali a week ago, did Gili Trawangen and. Had a driver take us to Padang Bai and stayed the night, Beautiful bay indeed, Caught Gili cat fast boat to Gili T via Lombok. Hot on the boat if you are not in the flowing air, If you get sea sick like I do, Take 2 quells.
Worked great, 2 hours?? including the drop off on lombok. 15 minutes to Trawangen.

Snorkel infront of the Danima on the north end for Lots of turtles in 1.5 metres and no boats, Excellent Diving dive with Gili Scuba, only the guide and myself. Sharks, turtles, rays, crayfish and much more. good for photo's. Power failure happens alot so most good resorts have backup generators. HOT HOT HOT. 10.30 to 12 is the hottest part of the day so relax swim and have a snooze. Food I wouldnt rave about unless dining in a nice restaurant. Night markets disapointing,
Return trip much faster and great transfers to seminyak.
