Each year we fly Jetstar but a few years ago got a Garuda special $222 return from Melbourne (Kids commented on how they prefer Garuda any day!!)
I think if we all get together we could write an entertaining book on the delays re Jetstar-
I think mine takes the cake though!!!
Flight was delayed because pilot was sick (OK - fine),
new Pilot sent down from Sydney (OK- fine)
Well the new pilot put his passport in checked luggage and Jetstar lost his bag (Crazy!!!)
So flight departing Friday night now left Sat. morning!!!! (Had a $800 penthouse booked at O-cean so not happy!)
and on return flight arrived back 17 hours late as fog in Melbourne so diverted to Sydney (huge backlog of pax.)
Anyway flying out on Jetstar soon ($330 cheapie flight) and just managed to grab a $116 return ex Mebourne for May next year so I suppose as long as Jetstar have great deals I'll fly with them!!!
