Have been 3 times to Gili T and will only do the flight from Denpasar to Lombok then car, then boat - wouldn't do it by boat all the way after my daughter and granddaughter did a couple of years ago. Apparently okay going over but different time of day and tide coming back and horrific! Also spoke t a man who owns a villas over on Gili T and he said he will only fly never go by boat all the way - too dangerous.
