I had this happen to me in January. I was due to fly out 10.20am. I get a text just as we are about to leave for the airport from airasia telling my flight has been re-scheduled to now leave at 1.20pm I thought it could be a scam, so I rang airasia and when I finally got through, they said no flight change, proceed to the airport for the 10.20am flight. we get to airport only to be told no its been reschuled for 1.20pm they gave us meal vouchers to apologise. Airasia call centre doesn't get updated quickly at all.
Now I was due to fly out this Friday 31st Oct at 10.20 I get a text from the same number telling me flight has been re=scheduled and due to leave at 1.20pm grrrrr again! So I rang them, they say no, its still showing up on their system as at 10.20am. I didn't want to get caught out like before (they already changed this flight for me as I originally booked the 4.50am flight - to make the most of the day in bali) so they let me free of charge change my flight to the previous evening (even tho they still insist its leaving at 10.20am and today it is still showing on their website at 10.20am) the text comes from a different department of airasia. So from my experience, listen to the text as they don't update their systems prompty.
