I am 100 percent with you on all those points, sounds like you experienced the same holiday as me. The aussie bike riders are so dangerous, I will not walk onto a road if I see one coming they don't slow down like the locals, had a shocking meal at wayans, couldn't eat one mouthful, saw kids just getting food taking it off waiter and not saying thank you politely, but then the ones I saw I think the parents were the same, so monkey see, monkey do. When I did get a cab, found some very entertaining and didn't want to get to my destination, others would just grunt 'speak no English', had no problem with not putting meter on once I asked but always gave them more anyway. I found it amusing how a lot of the sellers now speak in dollars than rupiah ' but miss, it is only 2 dollars', and it makes you think yeah it is only 2 dollars, but heck it's the principal of the thing, I really don't know that happens over there.
