This year we stayed at the D'Tunjung in Candidasa. I think that the cheaper rooms are in the price range that you are after. This place is water front with a pool. Breakfast was included and OK. This place is located near the lagoon so pretty central. Easy to walk anywhere in town. It is down a road off the main road so there is not road noise, just the sounds of the ocean.
We enjoyed our stay here and booked direct with the hotel via there web site. I think we paid on check out.
