Lazy day yesterday, after breakkie I settled in on a sun lounge for a couple of hours reading and people watching ( best past time in Bali ).... Friend had her hair done at Glo Spa while I rested then we walked down to Luhtus coffee shop for a light lunch and wandered back again....
I have never slept so much as this trip, nanna naps every day and sleeping quite late in the mornings as well....gonna be a tough return to work when I get home :(
We were to meet friends at Barbs sports bar to watch the Dockers tonight but they we'rent there so we kept wandering and did a bit of shopping before stopping at The Three Monkeys for dinner.
Had a bottle of the Plaga Sauv Blanc and shared some starters which sounded amazing but were rather dissapointing.....pumpkin bruschetta with under cooked pumpkin, peanut crusted prawns served with no dipping sauce and very dry....salt and chilli calamari again with no dipping sauce ( Manu would not have been happy either !!!)
The one saving grace was the Lamb Briqot (?) a pastry with lamb mince which was delish and had a small portion of tzaziki sauce with it...
Service was good and the setting is really lovely, perhaps we just got a bad night or chose our food badly but it wouldn't have taken much to be really special.....
Back home and finished off my book before a lovely sleep...have to say the bed in my room is very comfy !!
Only two more days of this indulgent lifestyle, weather is still just perfect....I have The Fire Station and Warung Kapi Ayu on my list for the last two nights......
