aware of the law and I'm sure none of my friends here are either, we had our school graduation 2 months ago and all the VIP guests smoked in the classrooms while the kids did their end of year performance, I laughed as its just so typical. Maybe the signs are only up in tourist areas as they know how much you guys complain about it (that's not a dig, its just a lot of Bali is now designed around tourists having rules like their own countries, Bali is all about making tourists feel at home)
I think it will take a long time to change the locals on this.
