Arrived in Sanur two days ago, still getting our bearings .....we are staying at the Semerandana which seems like a really central part of town....it's so different to Legain/ Seminyak which is like our backyard now...it does one good to step out of our comfort zone.....
First day we had lunch at the Art Cafe, good choice, lovely service and food, yummy strawberry juice :)
That night ate at The Village which was lovely.....beautiful inside restaurant although we chose to sit outside and listen to the pianist who was very good and created a lovely ambiance.....shame they don't have the Cape Discovery wines on their menu but left a suggestion on their comment card.....
So the Semerandana guest house is small but sweet, it's full to the brim right now, apparently quite a few people here for a wedding.....
The rooms are lovely, it's just a shame we don't have anywhere to sit outside really that isn't in full sun....very cheap at $30 and $45 a night including a small but adequate breakfast cooked to order.....
Today we move across the road to the Respati on the beachfront for our last few days....booked through Agoda so will let you know how that goes...it has the most lovely gardens...not sure what the rooms are like yet !?
Last night we had a drink beachside at the Segara which was pleasant but came back to the street to eat at the Rib cafe, pleasant meal, lovely service.....and close to home....
Thanks for reading folks :)
