if I had open or unopened bottles of alcohol in my checked bags when leaving Bali. Mind you I am usually flying Cathay Pacific to HKG (and then back to Canada), not going to Australia. I have never been asked this question by any airline, anywhere in the world so I think it is particular to Bali and without wanting to be chastised, I personally think it is a scam.
