I just smile, aplogise, and then ask if we (the check in person and I) can work something out... My mates were once a combined 34kg over between the 3 of them, cost (bribe) was $100AUD, negotiated,quickly and discreetly, from the $150 first offered... Yes even bribes are negotiable...
