You are better off using anatural Indonesian sim. To do this first you need to make sure your iPhone is unlocked, you may have to pay a small fee to get this done. (It allows you to use other sim cards).

Then go to one of the many street vendors selling sim cards - pay up, and they will setup the sim for you in the phone and help you choose the correct tariff.

If you just want to connect to the Internet and don't won't to call and text you could just use your iPhone over wifi networks which is free of charge. Doesn't require a sim. Just make sure you turn off "data while roaming"

Personally I go with the local sim card option every time.
