Was in Seminyak last week and wondering if anyone else has noticed how some money changers are giving you money . First they count out the amount - based on the exchange rate - then ask you to recount - but then they take the money from you and count again and then hand it to you . It wasn't until we ran out of money and realised we couldn't account for at least $40 did we suspect the money changer may have been removing notes when he counted the second time !
Has this happened to anyone else ?
If not hopefully we are wrong but the double counting my the money changer made me think twice
