If you don't mind the expense the padma is lovely. You can get lagoon access rooms with club benefits that has a veranda straight into the pool. Or the premier rooms open onto a grassy area. Or they have chalet rooms. When we stayed 2 years ago the rooms in the big block has been refurbed, very nice ,but the chalet decor was a little more old fashioned.
The food is wonderful, best buffet breaky I have had in Bali. Straight out to the beach on one side or straight out to padma st for shopping and restaurants.
