Do you count them as the not rescued? My original point (obviously not made very well) was that the small area they mark with the flags is either incorrect (amongst the huge rips, isolating a ten metre area is ridiculous) or they just randomly choose an area to herd the tourists into. If you haven't seen the lifesavers drinking then you haven't been looking. They can often be found on the beach with groups of girls drinking, playing soccer and having a great time.
