That may be on the website but the customs guys find the whole thing a pain in the neck. They don't see their jobs as raising money for the government but protecting our country from diseases etc that may be brought into the country. I travel to Bali 4 to.5 times a year so have been through the process quite a few times since the new rules. Several times they have asked me what I am declaring and when I have said several cartons of cigarettes they have actually sent me in the line that goes straight out of the airport without paying anything. I have asked them how they feel about it and all of them have said they would rather be doing their job than raising revenue. My grog is always sitting visibly in the trolley and they have never said a word.
