I ended up booking a 1bdrm suite for us so the kids have a separate room to sleep in. I was able to pay one night's deposit rather than the full account so I'm happy with that.
I had contacted Holiday Inn recently to ask where rooms where in relation to pool etc and they sent me back a resort map but it didn't give any indication of which rooms were where due to privacy issues.
I'm happy to be away from the pool if it gets us a bigger room :)
