We have been to the zoo a few times, the latest in June this year.
Yes you can do elephant rides at the zoo.
Easy to get there and we always book the package that includes entrance and lunch. You also get a photo experience with an animal or 2 where you can buy the photo.
We normally spend a couple of hours looking around have lunch there.
