Eyebrow embroidery is the art of creating semi permanent makeup eyebrows, or cosmetic tattoo eyebrows using certain specialised techniques so they look as natural as possible.
The term eyebrow ‘embroidery' is a new term that has recently become a bit of a buzz word, but truth of the matter is that the real experts in the field have been doing what is now called 'embroidery' for a long time. The techniques employed to create this look are what we call ‘hair strokes' often cross-hatched, combined with some varied tones of shading if required. When we use more of a cross-hatched hair stroke technique, the brows look less blocky and more natural.
Eyebrow embroidery is also used to distinguish between brows that are less ‘permanent' (2-3 yrs) than the standard semi-permanent (5-8 yrs). Keep in mind that there are no truly permanent eyebrows. All tattoos fade with time and depending on your age and skin type the results can vary significantly.
