Arrived on Garuda yesterday 130pm local time with my friend who is a Bali Virgin,m,even tho I knew airport had changed was still surprised to see how modernised it has become, walked outside and found our driver.
I loved seeing my friends reactions to Bali, the smell, the locals on bikes and how many there are.
So after settling in to our hotel, we booked TS SUITES on JL Nukala this time, it's a beautiful new hotel which has still managed to capture the true feel of the Balinese culture we set off for a nice but long 3km walk down towards Legian. With some stops and shopping along the way my friend is I. Her element.....
We are on a mission to organise our leather jackets, tattoos and work attire, which we did successfully at Mr Dolphin, Buddahface and Toke Tailor, all very good prices still cannot believe my tattoo is only going to cost 40 AU but it is only small but knowing it would cost triple back home is very comforting.
We rounded off our day with dinner at Kori's a favourite of mine and it didn't let me down this time,
Off to bed as we are wrecked with the time difference and we had been up since 4am AU time... Dreaming of more shopping tomorrow
