We are currently staying at the Inna Kuta in the newer beach wing. We are now in the room that we had originally booked and paid for but on arrival we were met with complete indifference that the room type we had booked was unavailable and were downgraded without any compensation. I've read several other reviews saying this happened to others also, I think they overbook the most popular rooms.
We have spoken to two people on this trip who are staying at the Kuta Seaview and they both said that the Cottages have been renovated and are lovely rooms. The Inna Kuta is also 2 very different hotels in one. The cheaper rooms are in the old wing and Balinese in style whereas the new wing rooms have no balcony and are modern in style, so if you do stay here make sure you know what you are booking. The Grand Inna is also a very large property so you feel like you walk for miles to get around. Both hotels are in a good location to restaurants and shopping and are a stones throw from each other so location isn't an issue.
