Been waiting nearly a year to get back to Bali. Just over three weeks and I will be off for 8 glorious weeks. 13th trip. Staying at my usual hotel in Legian: Lumbung Sari. Love it there and staff are great. I will keep my room but go and stay for a couple of nights at different places. So far booked 3 nights at Swastika Bungalows in Sunar. Love the peace and quiet there for a break. Looking at going back to Amed for 2 or 3 nights. First time staying there last year and loved it. Sand is not so great but can always swim in pool at hotel. Looking forward to a fishing trip with the son of one of the locals who run a Warung on the beach. Also will go back to Padang Bai for a couple of nights. Great beach up there and also a bit slower pace from Legian area. I really want to stay a couple of nights in Ubud and experience the tranquility I have heard so much about.
Of course, I am always glad to get back to Legian and get to Apache for a bit of dancing, and the usual Billy's, Legend etc. Can't wait to get back to the usual Warungs; Kartinis, Warung Yogya, Warung Malang, but also will be looking for some different places to try. I am going to do a HNR or JBR this year for sure. Love reading everyone elses so determined to do one.
Looking forward to catching up with everyone over there and hope the $ stays as good as it is.
