Highly recommend Maria's cooking class, if you want a traditional hand on class.
Maria will pick you up, take you to market if wanted, then head to her home near BMIC and Bali Galleria. She not only teaches you to cook, but educates you on various uses
of spices etc for medicinal purposes. An interesting and informative class that ends with a lovely meal. We have also has Maria prepare a dinner for us and bring it to where wee stay. Our Balinese friends think she is amazing. Have done the fancy Bumbu Bali class in Nusa Dua, and it does not compare to Maria's, This is real Bali cooking.
