why worry about US dollars. You can pay in AUD, and get your change in RP at a reasonable rate. Why pay for US dollars at a bad rate in Aust, then pay your visa with it. Just use aussie dollars.
Just checked the Aust Post site. $25 USD will cost you a little under $28 AUD.
Convert this to Rp and if you paid in Aussie Dollars at VOA in Bali, it would cost you $27.15 AUD. The exchange at Bali will never be what you expect so it will be close. Why hassle with US dollars when you can hand over a $50 AUD and you have enough left for the taxi etc.
