Bank Indonesia (BI) will launch currency of the Republic of Indonesia (Republic of Indonesia) on August 17, 2014 to coincide with the commemoration of Independence Day.
"On August 17, the new currency will be introduced and has been entered in the automated teller machine (ATM)," BI deputy governor, Ronald Waas, in Batam, Thursday (19/06/2014).
He said the money that will be signed by the Homeland Governor of Bank Indonesia and the government in this case the Minister of Finance as mandated by the Act (the Act) Currency.
But Ronald was reluctant to disclose the nominal fraction of new money and the amount to be distributed to the public. "I could not say it, wait and see," he said.
