Long haul is just as simple. Use Skyscanner and I believe you actually get a better choice than any agent will ever offer you.
More control over departure time / length of layover etc.
It also gives you much more chance to get a better deal as you can view so many more choices - not just the ones the TA wants to sell you to earn a good commission.
