IF your flight is delayed because of FOG, get it in some kind of writing saying thats the reason. Buy your food and drinks at the airport on your credit card, keep the receipts. IF you have full comprehensive travel insurance you can claim it all back as a "delay".....if it is a "mechanical or engineering" fault you can NOT claim it
