The place jwilson is referring to at Bemo Corner is the PT Dirahgayu bank on the Jalan Pantai Kuta/Legian St corner. They give the best legitimate rate in Bali. There is another smaller branch in Garlic Lane between Garlic Lane restaurant and Ours restaurant. You can check out current rates at balibestrate.com where you can see their locations on a map.
