Pacsafe have a travel safe, google it, it can be padlocked around a pipe or onto your bed or just leave in your room safe at least it will stop the petty thief that just snatches a note or two from your stash, hoping you wont realise. I have one fits our passports as well.
Yes Kumala have safety boxes at reception. Pacsafe also have a cool belt with a zipper compartment that fits notes. I purchased one of these for my son recently who purposed to his girlfriend overseas and needed to hide the ring until the time was right.
