I came back from Bali 6 weeks ago and between the Mrs and I we had paid for 40kg each, so a total of 80kg.
We checked in 3 full size suit cases and a cardboard box full of snacks/oleh-oleh. Believe it or not they weighed a total of 79.8kg - can you imagine the sigh of relief!
You can check in as many bags as you want without paying extra, as long as it's under your allowance.
