We stayed here in Feb with a friend who had a time-share there (otherwise I would never have afforded it) and it was a lovely hotel a rare comfort treat. We went to Bali Collection and had several very nice meals there, we wandered and checked menu's and pricing and usually stopped at the ones that had the nicest music that suited our age.....and really not terribly pricey but obviously not warung prices !! Other nights we walked out to left of hotel and down the first street left and there are many nice restaurants along there at good prices.
There is a nice place called Treetops that was always full and good prices... just walk outside and grab a cab to it for $2 bucks.
We took bowels of food, bread rolls and eggs from breakfast buffet and heated it up in our M/W as we had a kitchen so we only paid for dinners. I loved the pool and did pool volleyball and aerobics group and pool cocktails were lovely too.
