Imodium stops the working of your intestines,so it will stop you from running to the nearest toilet.
Imodium is a brand name, the real working stuff inside is loperamide.
But take care Imodium does not cure, it blocks the effects. So only take when you HAVE to travel (fly or drive) otherwise you better let nature do the work, because running to the loo also cleans your intestines of bacteria etc that causes your problem.
And yes it is in my travelcase for the last 20 years.
