Flew Air Asia - going out delayed twice was not notified and silly me didn't check the site (...)
Air Asia coming back notified of first delay which enabled us to leave for the airport an hour later but flight was then delayed again by another 45 mins but no worries for what we paid no point in complaining and using up energy.
Hotels:
Komaneka at Tanggayuda - Ubud - Fabulous- Staff who remembered your names, gifts on arrival and departure - fresh fruit and biscuits everyday and free afternoon served either in restaurant ,by pool or in your villa
Nespresso coffee machine and pods provided, also loved the nightie provided clean every evening.
A little out of the way about a 25 minute drive into the centre of Ubud but a shuttle that ran every hour up until 9pm at night special request to be taken/ dropped off somewhere en route accommodated .There are four Komanekas in this group and we visited all four You can take your breakfast/afternoon tea at any of them - we enjoyed an hour massage at the Bisma.
There is soon to be a Komaneka in the Sanur area - looking forward to that!
Ellora Villas - Sanur - return visit -lovely large villas with own pool exceptionally clean, linen changed daily and staff that once again happy to oblige any request within reason. Breakfast cooked in the villa and a drink and appetizer delivered to the villa if you're in around 6pm. About a 10 min slow walk to beach. Shuttle bus to the immediate area on request.Transport to or from Airport . In amongst restaurants and bars such as Art Cafe, Warung Little Bird ,Ducks Nutz. Celebrated my birthday here on the second to last day staff delivered a lovely chocolate cake with the evening appetizers and sung Happy Birthday.
We will be returning - definitely!

Ubud
Three Monkeys- great food, ask for table at the back overlooking the rice fields
Nomads - very busy good food reasonably priced qued to get in
Bridges - High End & exceptional!!! On par with any fine dining restaurant here. But about a quarter of the price. Check out their wine list!
Sanur
Three Monkeys - good food again but the music from the bar next door spoiled it a bit for us.
Warung Little Bird - great food, great atmosphere - people queuing to get in limited menu but sooooo cheap!
Cafe Warung - disappointing
Art Cafe - always enjoyable love their curry puffs and chicken curry
Billys - So so
Caramel - not as good as we had experienced before and very quiet
The Porch - High Tea quiet funny really but it was my birth day and for $14 for 2 you can't really complain - I ate and drank all that was on offer!
Shopping - really didn't do as much this time did buy household things like Sensodyn toothpaste ,sponges, Lux shower gel , loofahs, plasters, Geliga rub and Hair Conditioner Capsules, all so much cheaper then back here.
Long dress with wooden ring at back - nice quality 80.000 you can get in Tootsie's cheaper but I didn't think as good quality

Visited Carefour for the first time ever it's huge my favourite there was the pastry section it's run by a French pastry chef and they were to die for!!and so cheap.
Highlight - the Green Bike Cycle Tour in Ubud - didn't think I could actually do it but was on my bucket list - I loved it and managed it, mostly downhill but some cross country through Woods and Rice Fields -I only fell off once because the young guy in front of me did and I didn't allow enough room between us. Do try it even if your my age . A lovely way to see the villages .A must to take Sun Lotion I totally forgot but a very nice German man lent me his, wear good shoes and cover up legs and arms
Spa - Koa in Sanur - Great 2 hour package for 180.000 with advert from Sanur weekly
