The traffic differs greatly at different times of day. Of course if you are coming via the new toll road it is always quick. The other potential problem for traffic is the potential for a ceremony to cause road closures and a traffice back up.
At the airport some people seem to be hitting big big queues even to get through the door then at check in etc. Others are sailing through in minutes as we did last week.
AA does say 3 hours now and this is what we aimed for just in case. I guess you pays your money and you takes your chance!
