The padma is around $280 per room per night for a standard room and the KP is about $100 per night. There is very little to compare about these two resorts except that they are both on the beach path. I have stayed both. Big difference in room furnishings,resort facitlies, breakfast buffet etc, they are worlds apart. Padma is amazing, great pool, best buffet breakfast I have had in Bali. But nothing about the Padma is cheap but Padma would be my pick of the two. From memory cocktails were about $10-$12 each at the Padma. The do have a happy hour special for an hour in the afternoon.
KP is great value you for money. For $100 a night it leaves lots of money for cocktails.
