It is pretty isolated, nothing within walking distance, even though it's located on the main coastal road. There are no neighbours other than a family of monkeys who visited the clearing below at sun up and sun down each day :o). It suited us as we didn't want to be disturbing other guests if we were playing music, talking loudly or laughing (or all 3 at once which was often the case!). Driver is available at any time for the short 15 min drive to Senggigi though, where there are a few good restaurants.
Easy to organise a boat to the Gilis from the Villa - we did a private charter to all 3 for $100 total including a guide and the "skipper"
