Barbecue to Bali. I checked it through as a piece of luggage with the other suitcases. I reinforced the top of the box and put a suitcase handle on it and carried it in.
When looking for a barbecue check the weights printed on the box. Mine was 24 kilo but its up to you which one you buy because more fancy ones weigh more.
Dont be bullied when you are at Bali customs. The guy there told me "How much you pay?" I said $100 and he said "duty" I said no way, and just stood there, I wasnt going to budge, he says duty again, I said nope, its a mexican stand off, then he says you can go.!
You can bring so much duty free in and I can tell you its more than $100
Another scam to get money I suppose.
You need to do your homework on prices and whether its cheaper to buy one in Bali or bring one over.
When I got mine it was a LOT more expensive in Bali. I dont know if there cheaper now I doubt it.
