Very eventful 2 days. We hired a car just from a random guy next door after all that. Same price as bali auto $20 for the day for a 7 seater. Was interesting watching my husband drive to start with, the whiteness in his nuckles slowly disappeared after about an hour of driving!
We drove to Bali zoo, chose this instead of safari and glad we did as I think safari would be too much with the 2 yr old son. This was perfect! They fed a tiger, held tge parrots and fed elephant's. Was actually a nice little zoo.
Went for a drive to seminyak on the way home and had a walk around, nothing too exciting.
Today we went to Tanah Lot first thing, that way we wouldn't get bad traffic. So glad we did it first up as on the way back the traffic in there was terrible. Came back via Carrefour for a little bit of shopping then stopped off at dunkin donuts before coming back for a swim.
Weather has been humid but not too extreme. Lots of light showers but nothing new at this time of year.

Hotel again, can't complain at all. Staff are just wonderful and so helpful. They greet you by name (as I know most places may but just seems more personal here) room is cleaned every day and is spotless. Nothing to complain about at all.
