Location was pretty good but the villa was tired although we didn't mind too much it was good value for money but bathrooms were a little dingy, but I believe it has been rejuvenated a bit since then the balinese style roofs in two of the bedrooms weren't sealed right and kept us awake with either bats or birds sort of chirping all night, the pool was very cold as it's always in shade and although it looked great we hardly ever used it as it was not pleasant to be in, kids wouldn't mind as they will play in anything with water.
There is no security at this villa at all something that was a worry for some of my family and although we had no problems it could be a little discerning at night as just a bit before we went an Australian woman from Perth had her villa broken (not in this location) into and she was raped and robbed, so maybe a little touch of some family members being over cautious on our first villa stay as the dogs next door barked at every little sound but were fine otherwise. A lovely Balinese family live next door typical very polite with young children and a great location only minutes walk to eat street, value for money was good and the letting agents BR were also very good.
