If you look upstairs around Cafe Wayan on Monkey Forest Rd you'll see a rough looking little warung with a brick verandah, sign is downstairs just on a white board, their snake bean green salad is the tops. Then continue up the road hang a right after the sports ground (past all the trendy ones) ther is a little one on the left, verandah at about head height only seating for abour 20 or so. Around the same area there is a small road to the left (not the small one to the market, the next one, there are a few options up there. Continue up the road where you took a right at the sports ground till you get to a T, turn left then on the right a hundred mts or so there is are 2 on the right, 1 quite pricey but decor to match and right next door an open one up a few steps with very heavy furniture, good foor but if you want more than a couple of bintangs the little chick serving has to run off and buy them but the food is worth it or tell her how many to start and give them time to go on one trip while you eat.
